f I Just bought a Fender Esquire about a 3 months ago and I was trying to play it through an amp that might have had water in it, and I couldnt get the amp to work. But, my main concern is my esquire wont play through any other amps after I got done trying to play through the amp that might have had water in it. I think that amp might have ruined my guitar but I dont know.

Any Suggestions on what I should do?? :(

Have you ever actually heard your guitar sound in an amp? because if you have never heard it sounding in an amp then the problem might be your guitar probably the wiring ...... :)

Ok ....mmmmmm thats kind of really hard to determine...... It could have been the amp thta maybe was in short circuit or soemthing and that somehow ruined the pickups... but I am glad you didnt get shocked ... its dangerious to use a wet amp I guess.... BUT it could also be a loose wire inside the guitar.... take it to a tech thats the only way to know for sure what happened to it.... I cant think of anything else really :)

There's many of us very relieved that you risked your life plugging in that wet amp, saving us the trouble. Man...!

Cheers - C

Is that a new "tone" trick?

In the phrase "amp that might have had water in it," I believe the critical word is "had." Of course, the word "might" suggests that it was always dry.

Did this amp come from New Orleans?

Wow, that brings new concepts to surf music!!

Seriously, that is merely coincidence only. One has virtually nothing to do with the other. Premising your cord is good, one of the wires on your Esquire's output jack is probably shorted or broken off.
