I am headed to Guitar Center tomorrow morning to try one of these out and possibly bring it home. The aged cherry burst with maple fretboard is what I will be looking at, (always liked the maple necks).

Anyone else have one of these?

What are your impressions?

I have one and love it!! It is the best playing guitar I've played except for my CS Gilmour. Make sure it it setup correctly and your set for life! Enjoy!! 8)
ps See if you can get one from the back that is still in the box!!!

Yeah, I know Fender's love for putting those lite guage strings on their Strats. However, I have a preference for a little heavier guage, 10-47. So, I expect the guitar is going to need a bit of adjustment.

So, I ended up getting an American Standard, Sienna burst with maple neck. I just liked it better than the Deluxe.

One question, just what is the difference between Aged Cherry burst and Sienna burst? Looking at both side by side, I can see no difference at all.
