wood is going to be different because nothing weighs the exact but i wouldn't expect it to make that much of a difference. So i really wouldnt know.

thats so unique. I remember kurdt always talking about a guitar stained in garcia's blood, but muddy's shack wood tops that. I want to find something signifigant and turn it into a guitar....hmmm I wonder how petrified wood from the triassic period resonates

thats really interesting. I am majoring in Geology, so I understand the risks of working with such old, permineralized, objects such as petrified wood. I know of a locality in the utah, US where petrified wood can be found...the only problem is the wood is illegal to collect samples from, so cutting a big hunk off is definatley not allowed. Hmmm
