Haha! Hi F, seem to have missed you around for a few days.

Did you see my pig pic on the T-shirt thread? I thought you might like that one...

Yes I saw that pic. The one with the pig? Ha! Ha! I've been a little busy with my son. He and wife just had a new baby boy. Guess who he named him after? His name is James Marshall Hopkins! Care to guess? Anyway nice pics. I think you're in the top tier of the contestants!!
Sorry for going off subject OP!!

Nah, he got his question answered way back. Your grandchildren, their names and their guitars are far more interesting!

F, family gettogethers must be a very musical affair in the Hopkins household. Layla in particular is a fab name - though let's hope she doesn't grow up to prefer the Allman Brothers Band and wish she'd been called Jessica instead!

And on this one point we just have to hope you are not a Stray Cats fan. Their drummer called himself Slim Jim Phantom. Not sure any sane grandchild could forgive you for naming him in honor of Mr Phantom!

Ha! Ha! I'm kind of worried about Jagger and his name. I hope he forgives his daddy. I can always say "talk to your father" . I guess this is a case of the kind of environment my children were raised in. They all like the older type of music. Really didn't have much choose! You know that my sister plays drums, her husband-guitar, my daughter-guitar, one son-drums and the other bass and guitar. We are a musical family!! My wife is our critic!

After Zowie Bowie no other child has a right to complain. And much as I like Bob Geldof I think he has something to answer for: his daughters are called Peaches and Fifi-Trixabelle. More good celeb offspring names here:

We do have nice gatherings several times a year. I might have started this bunch but they have left me behind as far as talent goes. Hard to teach us old dogs new tricks but the younger ones double their ability every time I see them! :? Sage is only 5 1/2 years old and speaks French and English along with playing the piano fairly well!

It's probably not for sale, though!

Oh well you got me excited there before you dropped the bomb Ceri.... :D

Woah, don't get excited! This is just raw timber we're talking about. But dealing with it presents one or two interesting questions...

Cheers - C

Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top - not that I have to tell you guys) has a guitar made out of timbers from Muddy Water's childhood shack. That's damn cool.
Ceri - looks like you have some admirers who want to do the same with your lumber. Ain't that a man?

Love,
Todd

Fhopkins.
Many congratulations on your recent arrival. no, not the gilmour :D .

Cant wait till i've got grandkids. I can sit there telling my daughters about what they put me through and how little trouble their kids are.

Marc Bolan gave his kid a funny name too, Rolan Bolan.
