Can someone walk me through the advantages and disadvantages of this, or please post a link if this has been done:)

Advantages I would say your fingers don't feel the wood thats under the strings... specially in the vintage type frets you feel it more .... bending is really comfortable to do ..... thats all I can think of right now...... some people say its not good because then you have to control your hand not to press hard because strings would go out of tune.... but that is just ridiculous to me..... one probably bad side to it would be that scalloped necks have probably less sustain than normal necks but we are talking about 0.0001 % of sustain here so there isnt much difference on sustain I would think :)
