Someone is selling a 1993 Fender American Strat in black with maple neck with a reverse headstock. He says the pickups are vintage single coils but the bridge pickup is slanted in the normal way most Fender single coils are while most of the reverse headstock strats i see are slanted the opposite way. He says everything is original. Regular serial # N3XXXX

What do you guys think of this? Did Fender ever release reverse headstock limited edition but in standard models?

Are you sure it only has 4 digits after N3 ??
According to the fender site if it was N3 plus 5 or 6 digits it could be 93 or 94..... but I dont see anything with N3 and 4 digits.... by the way he could have changed the pickguard and wiring .... :)

It's 5 or 6 digits. I just want to know if fender came out with strats with reverse headstocks that were not a custom or signature series guitar. He says it's all original. It also comes with molded hard case which he says is original to that model as well.

That list is incomplete. In '93 they came out with a Purple Haze limited edition strat with reversed headstock.
