Eventually he gravitated toward Telecasters.

Don't worry, I have it. Hell, I even have a uke because of George.

BTW I got to meet George years ago when he was a visiting Willbury. Shared tea (real tea) with him. He WAS rather quiet. Ya, I miss him.

My 16 year old son plays guitar and HIS favorite Beatle is George.

Love,
Todd

How do you like your Casino's?? I really dig the Gibson ES 335's, but I dont have an extra $3000 kicking around. I heard the Casino's and Sheratons are pretty good.

i had a casino before i gave it away to a buddy who got into law school!
i loved it!
it does tend to feedback a little but its inherent in all hollowbodies!
the chinese model is pretty good quality actually and brand new they are like $500-600
they make an elitist for like $1400 and i would imagine these would be a little nicer!
but paul mccartney once said that if stuck on a deserted island the only guitar he would bring would be a casino!
and lennon primarily played one towards the end of the Beatles into his solo stuff...george played one excessively too!
all and all they are great guitars!

I'll probably win the in-bad-taste award for the month, but here goes anyway...

Is there any similarity here? Or is it just me?

I seem to remember that Clapton had to push George to perform live and had to promise to be on the tour because George was scared out of his wits to tour.

Love,
Todd[/quote]

Actually George was afraid of the reviews of the show from the critics. They were merciless on his dark horse tour back in 74. It got trashed in just about every city. They complained about everything from his bad vocals to him changing the words on the few Beatles tunes he did do. He agreed to the shows in Japan ( where they love everything concerning a Beatles) to avoid that scene again.

OK, I know the guy in the top photo is George, but the guy in the lower photo? Neil Young?

Sorry, it was too easy.

Love,
Todd
