hello guys.I've got this guitar.
It's a Fender Stratocaster sunburst made in Japan between 1984-1987.
This is the serial number E 753313.
It is not a reissue model cause it does not have vintage mechanics and the truss road is on the headstock. It should be a STANDARD model but I wanna know if the STANDARD model it's an economic one and less good as the Reissues.Let me know.
I hope that those pictures will explain you better.

Many of the Japanese makers used model numbers like the ST-314 that's stamped on your neck. Is that also stamped on the body somewhere?

It does have some vintage stylings (the mid-'60s transition logo, for example), but not enough to be a reissuse, like you said.

Have you googled ST-314?

yes...I have not found any information.
I don't think ST-314 is stamped somewhere else...

I noticed that you have 22 frets, and an E serial number. It would seem to me that it's a contemporary strat. Only I think that the bridge has been changed somewhere down the road. Because normaly there would be a fender system I bridge on it.

I hope this helps you out a bit...

When you are looking at the picture of the bridge there is a pickguard screw missing and when you look at the hole in the pickguard it looks as if the is no hole in the body for it. Did you change the guard?
