I went there and they couldn't find the guitar by that S/N. It looks to me that it's missing a letter like "N" or "Z".

Todd

EJ strats are not serialize with the alphabet "N" or "Z"......the serial number given above i believe is correct as most EJ strats i see have the similar serial numbers which is EJ + 5 digits.
I can find anything at the moment in the net that explain but maybe because that EJ strats are a "reissue" of '57s so that explains the 5 digits serial which are common for strats in the '56 onwards.Unless someone else have a good explaination for the odd serial on EJ's strat

Odd that they would not have the info on guitar dater. I have not found any info on the Fender site but the Johnson's have been made now for 4 years and I think all do have EJ serial numbers on the back plate which I also think has EJ intial and a drawing.
