Ok so I was browsing Craigslist and came accross this ad. I can't believe this ad lasted almost a day. Even the seller said too many flakes. Anyways I did not waste my time and jumped on this deal. I paid $300 for everything.

2002 Fender Fat Strat (Mexican) in very good condition.

Early nineties Fender molded case (I've been looking for this one, its thinner than the newer Fender factory cases.)
Image

Fender PRO 185 (red knobs = early 80's. 2x12 setup. Sounds beautiful, its loud but clear, in very good condition. Did I mention its loud)
Image

Fender Foot switch (still retails for $50 at guitar center)

Dunlop crybaby 535Q

and misc cables... Oh yes everything is in very good working condition, and No I do not think they are stolen because I picked them up from the seller's residence.

some pics are from online except Guitar...

so lets here some Craigslist steals...

yes sir, I gave the guy 15 twenty dollar bills...

I will actually part them out... except for AMP, foot switch and case.

BTW, the amp is sweet considering its a solid state, I can't move the volume knob pass number 2 because its freaking loud. I'm using my 1990 american strat with it.

Hey, that's my gear!

Kidding - but wow, what a deal! Was the guy very ill? Had he just been thrown out of his job? Did he need to pay for a life-saving operation for his dear mother?

Or did he just figure that once you took delivery of the stolen goods you were not likely to shop him to the fuzz?

Play and enjoy - C

Wow. That is an excellent deal.

I would almost suspect that is stolen gear.

The good thing about Craigslist, is that it tends to be just people trying to sell something they dont need (or need the money more) and not these online stores that dont even have real websites (though there are some really reputable ones). But more importantly, they tend to be people in your area, so you can actually demo whatever it is you're buying, and actually see the person you're buying from.
