A questions arose from the last question I posed regarding the hotrails. I've read certain user reviews of American Strats that the humbucker pickup on American Deluxes still have a strat sound to them. It doesnt make sense that they would, because they're humbuckers, not single coils. The reviewer may have been referring to the strat in general, maybe talking about the other 5 way switch positions, it wasnt really clear. But Ive read that a few times. Is it true??

If you set the Humbucker to be switchable to split coil with a push pull switch then you have a regular strat AND a fat strat at the same time :)
