I no they had come back with the Sunn line of Amps back like 2000 but Fender Sunn Guitars was that the one that was made in India like 15 years ago and looked like a Stratocaster but they called it a Mustang? I seem to remember something like that at the local music shop one day and looking at it

As I dimly recall, the Sunn Mustang was made in India in the '80s and, later on, production was moved to China before being killed off.

I didn't realize Fender came back with Sunn amps. I knew they bought the company and I think a lot of the American-made Fender amps, like the American version of the Blues Jr., were made there. I thought the Sunn trademark was on indefinite hiatus.

I am not sure I no they sold there amps but I not sure if it was them back in the 60's . And now that the topic is going I have been trying to remember. Did they own them the whole time or not. The guitar that I saw in the shop was a thing that looked like a Strat but said Mustang and I think it was made it India. Now the Amps I think there were some big bands that used them 40 years ago now if Fender made them I don't no, thats a good question.

I never owned one but I heard the quality was low. I don't believe Fender actually made them. I think some other company bought a license to use the Fender trademarks and the Strat design.
