Hoping anyone can answer a few questions...

I bought this guitar myself back in 1985, and it still plays well. I had to replace the top locking mechanism (original lever type had broken) with a more standard string guide (no lock). Although I had it done professionally, I would like to find original parts to restore it.

Where could I find these parts? Is there a website, or location that specializes in this type of product?

Also, anyone have an idea what this guitar is worth today?

Fretsonthenet.com still delivers spare parts for older kahler and other types of trems. you could try looking there...

Hope this'll help you out.

I've had some decent luck on Ebay over the years. Sometimes you have to search for a month or two but the part usually shows up.

I have an 85 MIJ myself and will not sell it. They are becoming more collectible but still not worth a whole lot of money. Yet! Maybe this link will help you. Welcome to the forum !
