This is my ex '92 american standard: I scalloped the neck, that unfortunately broke down ten years later. So I bought a Warmoth, flame maple, pao ferro fingerboard, 6100 frets, and I reused the sperzels and the LSR nut I had on my original neck. The pickguard is mint green, because the original white got scratched, currently I've a Dimarzio HB2, a HS2 in the middle (waiting for the second HB2) and a Solo pro in the neck.

Of course, I had to replace all the circuit because of the 500k pots.

Not much to see really. I don't belive in chopping up a guitar to mod it.

Schaller "F Logo" locking tuners
Dimarzio Tone Zone Humbucker in the Bridge
DiMarzio Pro Track Humbuckers in the neck and middle positions

It plays very well and with the S-1 Switching I can get any sound I want.

a mexican squire series with a kavanagh african mahogany body. Vintage frets ground down, earvana nut, clapton mid boost and vintage noiseless pickups.

Image
a 80's charvel cx291 now with a master tone and the middle tone is a blender pot for the neck pickup allowing all 3 or bridge and neck selection.

I know the charvel's not a fender but its a classy strat.

This is my MIM when I got it brand new... after a while I replaced the pickguard including pickups and wiring and also the plastic nut was replaced for a graptech nut .... the pickups sounded nice but I cant stand the noise they produce they are very noisy.. and the plastic nut got over my nerves it would make the strings go out of tune all the time which I believed was the bridges fault since I was new to strats but after doing a lot of research I found out the nut was made of plastic so I put this graptech nut and it is fantastic strings go back to tune after heavy tremolo use..

This is my MIM now :) I have to say it plays like a dream I put an EMG 81 in the bridge and two EMG SA's in middle and neck position along with the off-white pickguard its not ivory its more like in between white and ivory... and also the wiring is customized... there is one volume knob, one tone knob which alters all pickups.... and the third knob I actually copied the idea from a Custom shop guitar Video I saw on this website this knob is a mix volume knob for the bridge pickup... which means if I am using the selector switch in positions 3, 4 or 5 I can turn it up to mix the bridge pickup nicely to the level I want to or a full increase so I can have neck and bridge at the same time or all three pickups at the same time making possible any and every pickup combination... thanks custom shop I stole your idea :P finally the Schaller strap locks which are fantastic....I also have to add that all the mods I made to the guitar are reverseable I can setup the guitar back to its original condition if I wanted to but I reallly love it like it is right now... :)

Pick ups are similar to the '57 Hot Rod but with an S-1 switch incorporated at the Master Volume

And the tuners are similar to those of the American Deluxe...Schaller Fender Tuners..

-the best pic i could find off hand. What I'm trying to show you is somewhat visible. the custom chrome with a blue colored wood inlay is very attractive against the white with the electron blue beside it. try and find some cool knobs..always a plus. other than that I got texas pickups, planet wave tuners the trim themselves (very handy) and a custom whammy bar handle that I turned on my lathe made out of rosewood :P
