I have a 2007 HWY 1 Stratocaster and I was about to adjust the height of my saddle on my high E string. I soon realized that the small allen wrench that the guitar shop gave me with my Fender does not fit. I went into my allen wrench sets and I still could not find one small enough. I went to the store I bought it from (and several others that sell HWY 1's) and no one had one, nor could they tell me the size, but they were all too happy to adjust the height for me for a nomimal fee. (How do they know which allen wrench will fit?)

Does any here know what the size the Allen wrench is that fits the saddle screws of the 2007 HWY 1 Stratocaster? :?: :?:

Tell me about it. The small hex does fit Standard Strats, just not my HWY 1. I did not know there was a difference in the vintage style tremelo. I think the guy gave me the wrong kit when I bought it. But then to tell me that they do not know the size and then offer to adjust it was equally strange.

the size allen wrench i use on my standard is smaller than 1/16th. i bought it from a auto parts store and the size is listed as 050. i'm not sure what that means...but it is very small. i also have hex problems..i ordered a truss rod tool and when i got it the wrench is too big. Damn

Thanks, the .050 fit like a charm. Sorry to hear about the truss rod tool.
