Has anyone modified a right handed strat to accept a trem bridge from a left handed strat? If so, what were the issues you ran into and any advice you could lend would be great!

thanks.

I had thought of doing that, however the hole for the block would have to be routed out to the left and when you mount the bridge you will see the hole past the right side of the bridge.[/b]

If you look at a close up of SRV's Number One, you can see the plug that was use to plug the hole from the right handed tremolo. I have also read the the "custom" sticker near the bridge was covering "work" damage.

If you want such a body without any "patching," Warmoth (and other companies, I'm sure) would be happy to make a right-handed strat body routed for a left-handed tremolo ...

Of course, if you are good at woodwork and finishing, you could do the conversion and patch it invisibly.
