I am looking for a complete tremolo bridge system for a '73/'74 Strat. Replacements I have seen in stores and elsewhere are generally smaller than what is on my guitar (the screw holes are closer together and the top plate is not as wide). I believe it may be a vintage make. The part number on the tremolo block (where the strings go through) is 010347 and it a solid soldered 1 piece system-- it doesn't have 3 screws connecting the parts together.

I'm not sure what 10aguiln was trying to say, but this site doesn't allow "classified ads" of any kind, so I will suggest you look at Ebay for that '70s bridge. I believe they are called "Die-cast 1 piece chrome Mazac tremolo," so you might Google that. You might find a vintage part or a modern replacement at some guitar parts retailer.

Good look.

Try this place I have dealt with them a few times seem to have a lot of things others don't. A good bit of NOS stuff for every Fender made. Also good for buying tubes.

Ebay or a guitar swap meet is your best bet. Lots of people are partsing out 70's era strats these days on Ebay (it's a darned shame).

The only trouble I've ever had with my '70s tremolo bridges was with string breakage at the saddles --- the same trouble with the older bent steel saddles!

After trying to keep them deburred by filing and sanding, I finally put Graph Tech saddles on my mid-'70s work horses, and that stopped all string breakage.
