That is a very good average. I have seen prices from $225 - $450 for fret job

I know that fret decay is related to how much you play the instrument the string gauge you use and your playing style, and although I've seen guitars undergoing a total re-fret after 3 years of playing, I was wondering what's the average before you need a fret job on a new guitar with an average of one or two hours of playing per day.

Bro it will probably be cheaper to just buy a new neck. You're probably looking at around $400. How attached are you to the old neck?
