When I am connected thru the amp, and I touch the strings, I get a really bad humming thru the amp, any Ideas as to why? I am thinking maybe a grounding issue, but I have checked to make sure that the ground is on the tremolo claw, and then to the pots" Maybe a bad solder joint?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Jim

Sight unseen, there is a reversal somewhere between a negative and a positive wire. The first place I'd check is the jack.

Thanks for the help, it was the jack that was wired backwards, the guitar sounds sweet now.
