Obviously, go with what feels good. Buy a couple different kinds and try them out. I like EB Super Slinky's as my standard until I find something else.

I don't really like the Super Bullets. For some reason they feel odd under my fingers, can't get comfy.

Right now I've got Dunlop 9's and they are pretty good.

GHS Boomers are good, especially the Dave Gilmour edition.

Best advice is to try several brands, and see what YOU like best.

I had problems with the Fender Super Bullets. They broke all the time, and I'm not heavy with the strumming. When I played with people, I seemed to always break at least one string. At one point, I broke a string three times in one session. Fellow players aren't too fond of stopping, while you do a string change (and maybe more than one).

I tried sanding the saddles smooth, as well as putting a very small amount of 3 in 1 oil on the tops of the saddles, where they met the string. After all that...the strings kept on breaking (they always broke in the area of the saddles).

Finally......I switched to D'Addario strings, and I haven't had a string break since. I wonder if anyone else ever had that sort of problem with Fender Strings.

Truth be told ive never had a problem with fender strings infact i prefer em. I found the tone of em to be more earthy than my old favourites (diaddario).

Just goes to show how personal strings are. I think they make or break a guitar more than any other one thing. So the advice 'try out loads of different sets', is indeed the best advice.

I use mostly the Fender strings on all my Fender guitars but I have just bought a set of the Elixir and I do like them. I try different strings from time to time for the heck of it. I will be getting more sets of the Elixir's.

I started out with the stock fender bullets, 9's and then D'adds, 9's and then D'add 10's, and now I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky 10's on all my guitars.
you just have to try them all out to see what you like.

I play with D'Addario on my ESP LTD and Fender Regular Bullets on my Fender HWY 1. .009's for both.
