he still looks a clown. jk

Poor blokes got his work cut out. All i've heard on the radio all day is obama this obama that. Seems like all the world is planning on him pulling us out of recession particularly here in the uk. He's either going to be a hero or a zero i cant see any middle ground for him. All the best to him.

Jimi would sort the world economy out with just 8 bars. We ought to do something constructive and ressurect then elect the big JH. :D

Wonder how his "Star Spangled Banner" would sound on his Stratocaster.

In the UK we had a Strat playing Prime Minister for ten years. I haven't heard about Obama's musical abilities yet...

And that's as far into party politics as I'm going to get round here!

Thatcher is a personal hero of mine. When i left school her reign was coming to a end. I thrived under her government, worked 7 days a week 52 weeks in that first year. I earnt more of a weekly wage at 16-17 than many 20-30 year olds. Now i live where she grew up. Not planned i hasten to add. Everybody there hates her. Good leaders do make mistakes and seem to get crucified for em. Isn't Clinton being recognised as a good leader now despite his misdemeanours. I'm sure Bush will be considered a great leader in years to come despite what the majority of the world think.
I really hope Obama gets a fair go. Lets see him stand or fall on his merits. At the moment its a bit of a bad situation he's been landed in, with the economy and all. Poor sods gotta sort that lot out before anyones gonna give him a chance from the looks of it.

Many people do not no that much of the problem we are have today is be cause of the Banking Reform Act ( The Community Reinvestment Act ) that come about by Clinton which allowed Banks, Brokerage Firms, Insurance Companies to sell each others products. Companies benifited by investing in loans they would have never done in the past. In order for a Bank to to expand in the other Financial areas they had to earn a rating by Comunnity investing (Making loans to people who would not be able) Many said it would fail as time went by and it did just that now the ones who wanted it made there money and have baled and the public has to pay the price for what happend in 1999.

my utter ignorance is proved regards clinton. Thankyou Cvilleira, i learnt something today. It makes sense that hilary went quiet just after this crisis really began to kick in.

Mate, feel free to correct me on politics anytime.

You gotta pay attention to educated people. The ability to learn is the only true intellegence.
