Does anyone know if Roland will put out the feature of the Fender VG as a stand alone product that you can install on guitar that doesnt have it?? I tried to look and I didnt see anything like that for sale, just the basic guitar synth that's always been around that requires and additional jack installed on the guitar. Someone should, I dont know if I'd put it on an american or custom shop, but perhaps a less expensive one like a MIM or Highway 1. I know they sell a Roland equiped mexi strat, and even though it doesnt sound quite as good, i like the fact that you just plug into the 1/4" and go.

Your guitar would need to be routed out for the roland pickup, the circut board and the battery compartment.
