On my 08 american standard stratocaster, whenever I bend a string it puts the others out of pitch until i un bend the string.

Is this normal or is it because of the floating tremolo or do I have a problem?

Thanks and please help

I don't think that it's a problem. Adjust the vibrato until it is set up to your standards. Then try again.

This is perfectly normal when you have a floating tremolo. as you bend the string it increases the tension of that string pulling the tremolo bridge plate up. You can compensate for this by putting the heel of your picking hand at the back of the bridge to hold it in place a little better when you bend, this will hlep keep the pitch of the other string close to where they should be.
Many guitar players use this counter detune when they bend to get some of their particular tonal nuances.
I can use it either way, depending what kind of bend effect I want to get.
