If anyone wants a recommendation for future tube replacement Ruby Tubes are the sweetest sounding tubes I have ever heard.

I have them in my JCM 900 and they absolutely sing.

JJ Tubes. Great tubes and TONS of info on tubes on the site to get very specific tones from your amp...

http://www.eurotubes.com/

Ruby's are good, and Santana is a big fan of them. I do remember some debacle and boycott against ruby tubes for a while though. Not sure what the latest is on that or if I even care, but I ended up going with JJ's anyway. Love them.

Boy, I'm not even sure what 12AX7 tubes I have ... Svetlanas maybe, something else too.

I put a couple Elextro Harmonix tubes in my Fender 75 a few years ago, and they still sound great!

I am super curious about GTs though.

The only tube amp I have is a Blues Junior Limited Edition (the browish tan colored one). It came with Groove Tubes and I have never seen a need to change them.
