I do not own one but I have played several at different stores where I live.
They feel great & have a sizzle sound from those pickups.
Personally I like them, if you are cool with having 21 frets.
Great guitar for the money imo.

I own one and they are pretty good (in my opinion). You should try them out! :D

dont own 1,
played 1, yes i have, in seperate occasions.
at least 4-5 times.
the texas special p/us sound great, especially neck pu.
the humbucker is nice too. i connected it to a marshall tube amp.
the single coils growl, and the humbuckers handle gain very well. balsy rock and roll.

terrific guitar.

i own one and ever since i've gotten in its been my main guitar. its got texas specials in the neck and middle and humbucker in the bridge. the pickups are pretty hot so they overdrive the amp earlier than vintage pickups. the only odd thing is that they aren't MIA anymore. they are MIM. Lonestar strats have a brighter sound with more of a bite to them.

I had one, but traded for a Hwy 1...and I'm much happier with the Hwy 1.

I used to own one - played and sounded great. The Texas Specials along with the Pearly Gates Humbucker sounded sweet with a very nice growl.
