Before I commit to buying the one i see, I just wanted to know if the body definatly has hollows for a Hum-Hum config. Anyone who knows this please reply....thanks in advance.

yep... the body is routed in a H-S-H config.

The body is an HSH routing and it sound buitiful. You should tottaly get one I have 3 of these....). 8)

Another YES and i'm sure because i already looked under my pickguard and it's HSH routed. And another DO IT for buying the 2008 Am.Std.Strat. A wonderful instrument.

Welcome to the forum. You already received a bunch of DO ITs and here is another one. If you are novice player I would still advise you to go with someone knowledgeable to help you pick the guitar. You pick the color style and let your friend test it out. I know that MIA strats have a lifetime warranty however there are still sometimes some guitars that escape the factory in not so perfect condition and/or are handled badly in the transit between Fender factory and the destination.

i have a 2008 that i just changed to the hh setup/ i have seymour duncan pearly gates in the neck and bridge position with a 3 position toggle switch also had a coil tapping volume pot put in so i could play it in a single coil configuration kinda like having 2 guitars in one i liked it alot before now i absoutely love it / i got the pick guard from warmoth.com

If you have the tools it is also really easy to convert the single coil hole to a hum hole :P
