Hey All,
Here's a newbie question for you...Anyone here every try to take a lefty Strat and convert it to a righty? Does it require more than inverting strings? A recut nut? Change in pickup height? Intonation? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Twang,
Billy

I have one. The original owner, a lefty, did the conversion, however. He played with the strings upside down!

Yes: You may want to move the strap button from one horn to the other.

> A recut nut?

If you can get away with just flipping it around, you'd be lucky. You might need a new nut.

> Change in pickup height? Intonation?

No. Yes, of course you will have to adjust the intonation and string height. If you keep the same string size, you shouldn't have to adjust the trem springs.
