I bought my late 2006 Highway 1 Strat because I love the Big Headstock and the Satin Black reminded me of a car that I had that was painted Flat Black.

It looked like this when I got it:

But I had a vision and when I was done it looked like this:

Fortunately, for Chet's guitars, they don't remain stock for long. 8)

because he cant handle a true strat.
a basic old school strat like the highway one.
any one else complains the same thing they
cant handle the highway one its to much for them.
they wouldnt know what to do with out the s-1 switch
or the rolled fret board all things that means NOTHING! to
a real strat player.

Orville: this is a bit off the post, but the only way to reach you. Have you seen the thread on the James Burton Guitar Festival??

Where does Seattle's 'Louie Louis' "Play-in" as I call it, stand with respect to this? Doc

I'm not up on these issues! sorry

I guess I'll have to use the search to find that thread.

Where did i say that.

As for always strats idiotic neanderthal response that i cant handle a real strat. I handle one quite well. Heres my last touring band that i enjoyed many a good gig with worldwide.
My MEXICAN strat is on all of the songs in the player except 'flip of a coin' and 'I dont wanna be a nazi'. Those tracks were recorded prior to my joining the band. I left the band shortly after the 'st georges day' track was released, some three years ago. I'm still mates with the lads despite leaving the band mid tour on our last trip to italy. My profile is the Nick on the first line of their friends list. If you scan through their pictures and compare them im onstage with them in Italy, belgium, holland and i think kyoto.
Certainly i'm no malmsteen but i havent done too bad for a fella that cant handle a real strat.

Now alwaysstrat/strat2004/highwayoneplayer where is your last bands website, before you respond or start making other nonsensical assumptions.
