hey whats up.
had no idea where to post this.
theres a good price on a marshall JTM60
i am not familiar with marshall. any opinions on it?

These amps have a poor layout with the PCB above the power tubes. Make sure it gets adequate ventilation and if running for long periods it doesn't hurt to have a fan behind it.........the kind that circulates air.

Mike's right, they do overheat easily, they also sound fantastic. Forget the Jcm range for blues and acdc type rock the jtm leaves em standing.
The simple answer to overheating is to put a tabletop fan behind the amp. I do that for all my valve amps to preserve the valves a bit longer.

Actually, it's the 40 watt model that had all the overheating issues.
Those have been rectified now.
