Today i went parts shopping, looking for compensated saddles and another earvana nut for my tele. The fella asks me what a earvana nut is so i explain it to him, he then proceeds to tell me, 'i can cut nut's great, no intonation problems with my nuts. Ask this bloke (who's just walked in) he's a pro. The alleged 'pro' looked a bit embarrassed  . I said to him a straight nut doesnt do it, even fender customshop guitars suffer low end intonation problems on the B and G strings. Are you telling me your working in a tip of a repairshop in birmingham when you can do what they cant?

What a halfwitt, glad ive never been to him for a repair.

Yep same problem with my Strat bro! Remember when I told you about not trusting ANYONE at my local music store? That's exactly why. Dude you should actually consider starting up your own tech business if you have any extra time. From what I've learned from you so far, I can actually understand the tech problems with my own axes; not necessarily how to fix them, but you know what I mean, that's your job bro. :D

discretion is the better part of valour Ceri.

I'm just going to take my strat to him and see if he can get a guitar to play as intune, if i'm feeling viscious. It was his 'your just a wallah know nothing off the street' attitude that got to me and the fact that the 'pro musician' ( that bloke out of duranduran) was expected to validate his claim. Just because the 'pro' uses him a bit. Like i care what any 'pro-muso' thinks. Aside from a handful of wonders their all just a bunch of chancers that struck it lucky, the top forty proves that. The cheeky girls are pro-muso's, they dont tell me who fixes my guitar.

It's an American website and their libel laws are much more lenient than ours.

Name 'em as a service to humanity - whatchathink?

I was just in Charlie Chandler's in West London yesterday. Now that's a nice guitar shop...

Have you seen the time? 'Night, man - C

Nah i'm not saying, he's a small independant tech. Not affiliated to any one shop but setsup for shops in the area and runs his own parts shop from his workshop. I couldnt justify giving him a bad rep just because he treated me like a idiot.
