Trying to determine the year of a strat for sale (~2003?). Any good resource for the new serialization (Z3215320)?

in the Year(s): 2003 - 2004

i don't want to waste the board with a new topic so ill post it here.

my new fender mim strat (lefty) has a weird serial #. the site doesn't have mine, its MZ6 (which is logical considering 05 to 06 were MZ5) and then 6 numbers. on the site all the other mims are MZ? then 5 digits. mine has 6. can someone clarify whats up? thanks in advance.

I think it's just the way the 06-07 MIMs are made. My MIM strat has a mz6+6 digits like yours.
