Post subject: trem help for lite ash strat

Hi i have adjusted the 2 piont tem on my strat,i tightend the clamp inside the guitar all the way in with 3rd spring on and then lowered the front of the trem with the 2 bolts all the way until the rem looks level,the only thing i have had to do is raise the action quite a bit,now the trem is flat on the body and tuning is stable,if i break a string will the trem still stay were it is like a hardtail type,any help is appreacited :D

It certainly should. Yet, if you want to prove it, simply detune the high E string on your guitar. If the rest of the strings stay in tune, you have your answer.
