This is very important for all the leftys out there. Every year fender leaves out a few finishes on the american standard stratocaster because "the demand isnt as high" so i thought why not have a vote on what finish we want. these are the 2 finishes fender left out plus the least bought finish this year so vote for what finish you like the most and would buy and hopefully i can convince them to put it in the "2009" line up

Well, just like cars, they "need" to change things up from year to year too. Colors are part of that, along with other features like tuners, tone controls, neck tints, string trees, saddles, etc. There would be no point in having a new model year come out that's exactly the same as last year.

These are all very cool colors, and I like them all. I tend to like to see the wood myself though, and always choose natural, stained or burst finishes. I'm not a big fan of completely painted guitars. That sienna burst isn't my favorite burst though.

^^ That's similar to my main strat, except mine has darkened, has some wear marks and looks like a 70's from aging, but that is on purpose. Looking to have a dragon or some other kind of "tattoo" design wood burned into the back perhaps.

I'm voting for all you lefties out there - Sienna looks amazing.

I'm just a sucker for cherry/honey bursts...
