Hi Rockerbilly: try this page:

http://www.wdmusic.com/bridge_components.html

or this one:

http://www.allparts.com/store/bridge-pa ... tegory.asp

or this one:

http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/gbridge_studs.htm (genuine Fender studs, bottom left of that page - wow, expensive!)

I'd want to discuss the thread with one of those suppliers before buying. Don't be pursuaded to purchase the posts and bushing-inserts on the basis that you can swap in the latter if the threads are different. You really don't want to be swapping out those bushings if you can help it. Getting them out can be damaging to the finish and the new ones might not fit quite perfectly into the hole.

Better in that case would be to go to any authorised Fender dealer and order the right genuine Fender parts. Here is the parts list for the American Standard:

http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/ ... 02CPg3.pdf

It is a little unclear, but I think the part you want is #0028958000 from the top of the second column. I may be reading that wrong though: check.

Good luck - C

Thanx a million again CERI,I did call fender directly and got the right part number, then went down to my neighborhhod Guitar Center and placed the order.Suprise!! The bridge studs thru Fender only came to $5.00 plus shipping.I've been seeing these go for anywhere from $15.00 to $35.00 a set. Nice Markups. And you can get chrome or gold. Really glad this forum was available ( so rookies like me don't waste money)Than Again!!!

You are most welcome: delighted to help.

I'm hoping your handle means you're into Brian Setzer, perhaps? Mmm-mmm.

Cheers - C
