Hey Guys!
Ive been a long time Ibanez user but after playing my first Strat two months ago I fell in love and subsequently bought two of them, a '93 Strat Plus and a '07 Lite Ash. They are both fantastic instruments however I am getting a unusual pulsing/beating/warbling sound from the 14th-18th fret on both guitars on the G-String. I have recorded an example here:

http://media.putfile.com/warble-10 (The b string is played first as a comparison)

The Strat Plus has Lace Sensors which rules out magnetic string pull and holding the string down past the nut to increase the breaking angle doesn't make a difference. Ive put a little foam under the springs to try and rule out sympathetic vibration but still I'm plagued by the warble. I'm hoping someone here might have some advice on how to fix this!

Thanks!

Edit: I have also tried different strings and different gauges. A wound G helps a lot (but doesn't fix the problem completely) however, I would prefer to play with an unwound.

Try adjusting the saddles up and down to see if it goes away.
I also had this same problem but it went away from either adjusting the saddles or the bridge. I adjusted them both so I am not sure which one fixed the issue.

Ive tried to saddles but I never thought of changing the bridge angle. Cheers dude, I'll give it a shot when I get home from work!

I think that was my issue as well. Take a measurment at both sides of bridge and make them exact. Could be on a slight angle. Good luck!
