NO im staying well away from that one. Its a collecters guitar not a players axe.

Anyway i'd only mod it with a speedloader trem and a motherbucker

Twelve grand is much cheaper than I've seen it available for elsewhere. I bet it is one of the ones that went to a Jag exec ('specially in that part of the country).

AlainLaFrance has one already. So buy this one, gig it a bit, knock it about and if it doesn't play nicely sell it to him. I'm sure he'd like another - tell him it's the Relic version...

The relic version Jaguar? Does that mean it has rust and has electrical problems?

Hahaha! The only problem we had with our (four wheeled) Jag over six years is that if you don't set the air conditioning correctly the windshield has a tendancy to get misty. We mentioned it to a service engineer who replied that, yes, that is a well-known issue with Jaguars. He had a note of pride in his voice, like it was a point of rare distinction...

Early number, i'd say it was defo a jaguar employee's guitar.
I put the detailed ceilings up at their factory showroom, surely i should qualify for one aswell.
I like the idea of gigging and dinging it a bit. Some inner idiot in me hates show guitars.

Ah.. I'm ashamed (not that much) to tell I have such a guitar, someone said that before .
It is by far the most luxurious, elegant and refined guitar the Fender Custom Shop has ever made
Yes 5 in the public. 20 for Jaguar. The one referred before surfaced sometime ago and seems to be one from the Jaguar Car Company batch.
All of the leather and wood comes from Jaguar Cars Cy .
Guess:
How comes there are no screws to fix the scratchplate or the backplate ???

Image
PS the gold inlays are not plated but plain gold..
More on my site:
http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/alb ... 4473CuoGgL

But guess what
To have the chance to own the Marshall/Jaguar 40th Anniversary Bluesbreaker made in 40 units-30 to the public (All leather covered by Jaguar Cars Cy, all 140 metal parts gold plated, together with the Fender Strat /Jag makes odds to own both very, very slim
How lucky I am ..
