I think B.A. was a Tele player.

Strats too... He also would have only been 9 years old in the summer of '69.

I have however played until my ears bled.

About 15 seconds of 2 100watt jcms in my bedroom. Enviromental health came asking questions and the local council issued a warning. The nextdoor neighbour has stopped playing rave music at full volume since then though.

I played so much I got tendonitis in my left hand's third finger and pinky. That was "back in the day" when I was practicing about four hours a day.

My first guitar was a cheap Stagg acoustic and it was pretty hard to play. During the first weeks I actually played till my fingers bled pretty much every day. Haven't had bleeding fingers ever since the thick skin developed though. I don't think that's even possible, as I've played pretty roughly for hours in a row.

yap, I've ever play until my picking hand bleed...
the reason is because, I was bending the high E from fret 21 to fret 25 (I know this is stupid). Suddenly, the string broke very hard, and hit my hand....

I had a gig a while back, were I played and bled on stage. 8)
See, I'm a Chef and had to work earlier that day.I had some burns and cuts on my fingers and hands, and I HAD to play this gig. It strted about halfway through an hour set.
So wouldn't you know it I was all "hardcore"...lol
Some idiots thought it was a prop. I just kept wiping my hand on my jeans ...I wasn't trying to impress anyone, I just didn't want to let my friends in the band down. I had to apply liquid bandage afterwards. That stuff is killer for cut up digits and beginning. But hurts like a B*** in a wound....
