I'm pretty much happy with what I have now ('72 Tele Thinline, MIM Strat, American Deluxe Strat, Ovation Legend). I'll probably go into a holding pattern now, unless something happens to one of the ones I own now. I'll probably just be some guitar gadgets from time to time in the meantime.

I was thinking of getting a new amp, not to long ago......but I won't plunge and get one, until I actually need one. I've been looking at a Line 6 Spider III 150Watt, but I don't actually have a use for one (except to play it) right now. I already have money put aside for it.......but I'll just hang on to the money for now.

Well, after checking out several options for the new guitar I need like a hole in the head  I've found a local guy selling an earlier Jimmy Vaughan Tex Mex Strat, which I have a funny feeling is my next guitar. He swapped the bridge pickup for a Gold Lace Sensor, and the pickguard for a pearloid one, and will include both of the original pieces as well. I'm gonna go play it, and hope it's as nice as most of them seem to be, according to the reviews I've read.

I'm probably looking at one of these:
Gibson SG Standard
Epi/Gibson Les Paul
SRV Strat
Am. HSS strat.

Hopefully in 16-18 months I'll be good enough to own one!

If you couldn't tell, I'm itching for a humbucker...

Currently working on the M&M collection (candy) I want Chrome blue, Graffitti yellow, Chrome red, Candy green, orange or tangerine, Stratocasters. If only they made the chocolate brown.

I own a lovely old 80's korean Sqier Bullet (1)

For a cheap guitar, it's been the best I've ever bought under £100. A bit of a cleanup & faffing with the settings and the action is a dream on it, the earlier Squiers were spot-on!

I already own a 90's Gibson Les Paul Studio (my baby!) A Hofner President Bass (technically my dads but I rebuilt it, lol) and a relatively new Aria Dreadnought acoustic, and lastly, a sunburst handmade acoustic with a tail piece that I've not a clue what it's based on!

After selling my hand-stripped-to-ash Epi SG guitar & later missing it terribly, I'm planning to make my next a hand-build from pieces of Fender & real early Squeir Strats. It should be good, I've already got a body in my sights and a nice Mexican vintage trem block and some early squier saddles. As well as a snazzy rosewood honey-lacquered neck in the pipeline!

My next guitar, even though it's far into the future, is an Olympic White 62' Vintage Hot Rod. I played on about a year ago at CG and just fell in love with it. It's the only time I walked into a store and played a guitar and didn't want to put it down.

Most Recent Guitar- 62' Hot Rod

Next on the list- This custom shop HSS strat that I saw at a local store. Its really worn on the body and neck (the guitar is new) with jumbo frets and has S-1 switching.

I'm thinking of staying in the family and getting a Tele...but I'm also considering an LP Studio.
