An ESP FX-400SM. Sweet guitar to play and it has a great sound.

My next guitar is going to be a custom Tele. Alder wood, Strat tremolo, P90 pickups and 5-way switching. After that will come a custom 12-string "Telecaster Deluxe."

Sorry to respond with a non-Fender, but I'm just crazy about the Airline Map guitar by Eastwood:

:o

Now, if money were no object, I'd be getting the Map and the Elvis Costello Jazzmaster... :P

Hmmm, this must be an omen. I'm starting to get a case of GAS, so I thought I would take a look at something different. I already have an 08 American Strat, that I absolutely love, 2 Les Paul's (57 Goltop Custom and an 08 Traditional), and a 20th Anniversary Ibanez RG550. So I thought to myself, a Tele would be different enough. So I'm thinking a 72 Deluxe, I really hate the headstock on the standard tele, so this one will fit my taste.

my next guitar purchase will happen in about a month.....the day after thanksgiving...currently i have a mexican sunburst strat and a black mexican telecaster...i really like both of them but will admit to having gas since i purchased my first electric and amp a year and a half ago....i also have a beat up cheap acoustic which i learned on over the last ten years....

so after all that i will answer the question...i hope to purchase one of the following in about a month...57 strat reissue or 57 hot rod strat, 62 reissue strat or 62 hot rod strat, 52 telecaster reissue or 52 hot rod tele, gibson les paul goldtop classic, gibson 61 sg reissue, or gibson sg standard. i really like all of these guitars and the one i get depends on what is available that day and if the store will possibly give me a deal. I know with this list of possibilities i will end up with something good. :D

After our trip to Oz/New Zealand in December/January I'll save cash for either a MIM Classic 70's Strat or a Highway One Strat.

Can't wait. The bad thing is...prices are going up since the $US is more expensive now. My beloved Strat is gonna cost me more when I buy one. Shoulda bought one a while ago. Hmmpfh.

Oh well.

My next one's gonna be a Sienna burst American Standard Strat with a rosewood fretboard. I've been coveting that finish since it came out and got side tracked by a Montego Black American Deluxe HSS; not a bad distractor, but I still NEED that Sienna Standard!

Probably a Gretsch 6120 or similar, though I hear a strong call for something like an AmStd P-bass as well. The case for the P is that my fretless 1998 American P has only the SG reissue as a "fretted" 4 string companion. I hear it never pays to let your basses get lonely ... :)
