Something semi-hollow. Maybe a Gretsch.

I should go to a psychic and ask him/her (usually a her, though) what my next guitar will be.

The last time I went to the dentist, I asked him if I'd be able to play the oboe after the procedure. He said sure ... ah, you finish it.

It was 15 days ago that I posted the "I'm done buying ..." topic and it's 3 and sth months since i bought my 2008 Am.Std Strat. I really still think that I don't need anything else because I hate when guitars stay in the case not played, but I REALLY REALLY like the Richie Kotzen Tele ! It's the one I'd definitely buy after my strat. I like the coil cfg and the colour and the gold hardware and everything. In surf green of course. It would be really different from my strat.

I'm right there with you Petros... The reason you get such a GOOD instrument in the first place, is to practice, study it and play it with all your worth. I think the American Standard is all you would ever need for YEARS, that's why you buy a Fender. It's a Fretboard like no other. It's a sound distinct from anyone else. It's the Standard's 08 headstock. American Standard's are not the cheapest guitar out there, but they are along way from pricey when compared to .... "" or "" or""(which are also domestic made).

A tele, but I have absolutely no idea which model, as I haven't educated myself in that field yet. I'm looking for something with a surfy sound, something to play indie/alternative rock with.

Hey Stratheads

My next Strat....The one I am currently saving for is a SRV Signature Series Strat. - with a replacement pickguard. The neck feels so good. The body is solid ...and the tone is awsome. I go back to GC and play it every week or so....Its a match made in heaven-

Well I just got my Jeff Loomis 7-string Schecter which is REALLY cool since it's a baritone and dropped to "A" across the board, but the next one will definetly be the Fender Floyd Rose Strat with a maple fretboard. I WILL mod the living heck out of it before I even play it though  . No active pickups either (I'm done with those), just good ol' Seymour Duncans!!!

I still have my eye on a Squier Classic Vibe '50s Tele
They have gotten some really nice reviews and I don't own a Tele and they aren't that expensive.

+1 to that, except I am going for Thinline. Sweeeeeet.

Vintage Modified Telecaster® Thinline
Alder body
Duncan Designed pickups
22-fret rosewood fingerboard
knurled chrome knobs
vintage 6-saddle bridge

The older you get, the more the beauty of the Tele's simplicity gets to you.
That's what I think.
Swenglish has spoken.

Especially with a Bigsby. (but maybe someone smoked too much...)
