Since my guitar is now set up with the heavier strings, will it need re adjusted if I go back down to the 9's? I dont really like these regular bullet strings lol

If all the tech did was add springs then you won't have to do anything when you change back to 9s unless you want a floating tremolo.

I hope riversitter means to just remove the springs he added and then things might be back to the way it was.

Changing gauge, adding springs, etc, all affect the balance of the strings/trem system. Change any one thing and you require a re-set up: intonation, float height, string height (and maybe even a truss rod adjustment).

Well bigfoamfinger seemed to say above that the only thing the tech at Guitar Center changed was to add a spring. An extra spring isn't something you would absolutely need to remove unless you wanted a floating tremolo (which bigfoamfinger's guitar didn't seem to have judging from his first post) or unless you didn't like the feel of the tremolo with the extra spring. Seems like the more springs you had the better the tuning stability would be. But I am open to correction. I'm no setup pro by any means. :o

Yes, but I had the manual that came with the guitar. I wonder how many times I reread the adjustment sections. Over and Over, screwdriver and ruler in hand, tuning it again and again.

Had I been smarter then, I would have taken note of how things were set before I started turning screws

Not all guitars come with a manual. Particularly the P's.O.S i used to play when i was 17. You get a manual with a £25 dvd player, why not a £80 guitar.

The tech did add the springs, but he also adjusted the heights of each string a little and aligned the neck. I walked away to look around the store during some of this whole process, so I did not see everything he did, but I did see him do those additional things.

I would imagine that it wouldnt be THAT big of a deal to change strings again without getting the guitar set up again? Correct me if Im wrong please.

In that case, yes you may need to do some additional setup if you change back to 9s. You could try going back to 9s and see how it plays. You could also check the setup measurements yourself against the Fender setup guide (link posted above) after changing back to 9s. If everything looks good then you are set. If not you will need to take it back to your tech or learn to do basic setup yourself.
