Hello DTD,

None more black---One super nice guitar.
I would play this guitar every sunday at
at the local guitar center for about 3 weeks.
Then they sold it, I wanted that axe and never
pulled the trigger. I tried to order one but
they were no longer available. Occasionally
I'll see em for sale still around $700 to $900
but not totally mint. You best get a hold of
Vintage guitar magazine you may have luck.

The headstock face was painted black but it's
back and the neck were left natural maple,
which always made me think "One could be more black".

Hope you get what you need.

Cheers.

Cheers.

Thanks for your reply. I actually found one for sale on Craigslist.com. I replied to the ad the same day he posted it, $800.00 called him several tmes as well as e mails but unfortunately no reply That is the closest I have come to finding one.

Even thinking of asking The Fender Custom Shop to build me one. Unfortunately I am told by a Fender rep that customs start at around 3000.00

I won't give up yet

Thanks!

Hello DTD,

Nah, you don't have to give up,
they are out there. Vintage guitar
shows/swap meets turn these up, but
as the years go on you'll see less and
less.

Cheers.

This web site has two photos of the None More Black but It isn't like the one I have seen. I have the original ad for it, the original has black knobs, with a some chrome hardware

No problem!
Have you seen the FSR Highway One? You can see it on Musiciansfriend.com I just sent one back two days ago, it just doesn't compare to the None More Black.
Now I am looking at the Big Block Stratocaster, found it on a site in the UK

I'm always looking for that perfect Black Strat!

You've given up on finding a None More Black already?

I hadn't seen these FSR Highway Ones at MF:

No I am not giving up on finding the NMB

I didn't like the Highway One because it isnt totally blacked out.

I have sent out quite a few e mails searching for the None More Black.

However I do like the Big Block Strat, not all black, but nice.
