I am personally not sure when the release date is but I remember seeing at least one thread in the past about this topic. Try searching for it, maybe it will help you.

Feel sure I read recently EJ saying he and Fender were currently "working on it", which suggested it ain't finalized yet. Which in turn would suggest production is not imminent - so don't hold your breath for the present.

But I can't seem to find where I read that; how frustrating...

Cheers - C

In the "Electrics" installment of the EJ video interviews, EJ says it will be released in "January" (He talks about it starting around 1:56). But I don't know when that video was shot.

EDIT: bluestube beat me to the punch by 1 minute.

Naaah, binding by itself is fine.

It becomes "lipstick" when you add block inlays with the binding.

But I would like it!
