I just bought a used one and got it 2 days ago.
I own 8 Strats and the 50th. Anniversary Strat is the best of the best.
The workmanship is perfect.
The finish is immaculate.
The two tone burst is beautiful.
The neck fits like it was custom made for me.
The pick ups sound like no other Strat pick up I have heard.
They are perfection.
The tones I get are hard for me to explaine.
I always thought I heard the "Bell Tones", but never really did until I played this Strat
My 65 DRRI and 59 Bassman LTD. Reissue just make the guitars tones sound even better.
All 8 of my Strats are keepers.
Some have been modified, and they are all individual and fantastic, but this 50th. Ann. is beyond perfect.

I'm sorry for going on about this Strat, but I've been overtaken by it.

At this point in my life, I'm fortunate enough to have the resources to own over 75 Fender products including some of the rarest finds Fender made.
While I dont (at this time) have an original '53, I've got 58,59 and 60 and the 50th fits the bill. I decided to make a case queen out of one and got a second which already show signs of long hours of playing. I also have a 62 Jazz and 57 P basses (both original and reissues) and in general I fond the workmanship of fenter american vintage series, very playable and less stressful to take out of the climate controlled room to gigs.
Keep up the good stuff. My only bug with Fender is this web site. Entering grey text on yellow fields is a bit annoying. Please keep artistic but a little more usable woudl be cool. Thanks.

Yeah, I guess I get a little dramatic when I talk about her.
:D
You should see when I play her.
Thanks very much.

I have to agree with the wormanship on the vintage series.
I also have a 57AVRI Strat and 52AVRI Tele.
They are all workhorse guitars.
I take very good care but I don't baby them either.
They are definately made to play.

One question.
How do I reply without the quote?
I couldn't find it in FAQ.

Bear to reply without the Quote just click on the Post Reply tab at the bottom or top left of the message your reading ( it's actually outside the box ).

You'll see it as your reading this one.
