I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of tremelo bar I can get for my Classic Player 50's Strat. When I got it off of ebay, it didn't come with one and I would like to get one for it. Also, I would like to get one for my MIJ standard. If someone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What do you mean it didn't come with one end, you mean the white plastic tip?

It is a standard Fender issued replacement part, available through any authorised Fender dealer.

I can't find a parts list for the Classic Player on the Support pages: I believe it has a standard Fender two-point vintage trem and will take the arm for that unit. But I would just double-check that through the dealer or with Customer Services on this website before buying one with the wrong thread.

I'm having a new Japanese Strat delivered in a couple of weeks. I could let you know then what the trem arm is on that one, if you still need to know at that time!

cheers - C

Thanks Ceri. Your help was appreciated. My CP50 has the 2-point type trem on it. I wrote an e-mail to Customer support to see if I need the American series trem arm or not. Thanks again for the help.

I agree with Ceri...

If you live near a Fender dealer, bring the guitar in and they'll probably have one that fits. Good luck!

I live in a small town and so the closest dealer is approx. an hour away. Next time I go to the city I will swing by there and get one. Thanks everyone for their help. :)

Glad to help.

Trem arms are also widely available on the net. Just type "genuine Fender tremolo arm" into Google to find many sellers. Once you hear from Customer Services which one you need, that is. The part number is the best way to be sure.

I got an email from Fender and they told me to to get a Mexican Vintage trem arm. They told me to go here: http://www.darrenriley.com/fenderparts.htm but when I went to the site they didn't seem to have it. :x So, I guess I will look elsewhere.
