At the end of the day it's always a Strat for me and I've owned a bunch over the years. However, the EJ I picked up recently is really special and is easily the best I've owned.

I've also played a few of the 62 AVRI's and they're pretty darned nice too. IMO they're right there with the EJ.

I'll probably end up trading my 339 for another Strat. So Strat's all the way for me.

My 2006 Highway One strat. I love it so much, there's not one thing I don't like about it. It gets played a minimum of 3 hours a day, ever day. :D

My main guitar is my 2006 American Standard Sunburst Strat. Originally it was a HSS confiiguration with S-1 switching. I changed out the pickups for DiMarzio humbuckers; a Tone Zone at the bridge, and Pro Tracks in the neck and middle positions. The S-1 Still works which is pretty cool. I also changed the tuners for Schaller locking units. I tell you what, I can play just about any style of music I want to on this guitar and it sounds right.

Hello Blaqdog,

My #1 today is my '62 Hot Rod.

Cheers.

+1! :D
My next or tied with is my Custom Shop Jeff Beck Strat.

I'm a Gibson nut as well, so that would be my Alex Lifeson ES-355.

My MIA Deluxe cherryburst ash! I will love my DG but I am a basic rhythm player and it's better for that. I think :?

I am blessed and own a bunch of guitars, and love them all, but my new Eric Clapton Signature Strat gets played the most. It is very versatile.

My number one is my 2001 3-color sunburst. The guy who owned the store at the time said that it was an American Hot-Rodded Texas Special. But I haven't seen that description anywhere since.

It's got a great sound and feels like home.

My 2006 "triple fat" Strat. It's comfy to play and sounds really good.

I'm a Precision man, but my only 6-stringer is this 'reliced' (not by me!) MIM Strat, a nineties model, I think. I've started to un-relic it by putting on new knobs, pickup covers and pickguard. Plays really well! And it cost me around $150 including the new parts.

Here she is (bit large, sorry...):-
