I have a 1996 Fat Strat and find it to be an excellent guitar. Good feel and tone. It may be a Made in USA neck for all I know.

I don't know of any problems or issues, but I chose to modify one.

One of my guitars is a heavily tricked out '91 MIM. I've replaced a lot of parts, but the original block and trem with three springs amazingly holds true to moderate whammy use.

It's got a 7.25" radius rosewood, Texas Specials in neck & mid, SD JB (SH4) Bucker and vintage tuners with a Wilkinson roller nut.
