Inquired after this title at a midtown NYC 'Barnes and Noble' on Aug 31.
I was advised that it will be released on or about 9/15/08-FYI

Doc

Hello Doc will always suffice.

Have you been following the David Gilmour threads? Phil Taylor is guitar tech for David and has written a detailed history of this much adored instrument. A portion of this work appeared in a British guitar magazine and was posted to the Forums to the interest of all earlier in the year.

Fender will release the Gilmour Signature Guitar this month as well and the first 500 orders will receive a signed copy, of the above referenced book, by the author, in addition to all the other goodies Fender is putting into that Gilmour stocking.

For $4K US its the least they can do.

Doc

I love DG and Custom Strats but I could never in my wildest dreams afford them, I have a hard enough time making rent  However .....I envy all that can buy a gem like that!!! For those about to ROCK I salute you! DG should have also signed the first 500 copies as well, that would have been really cool!! At least I can buy the book though
