I certainly consider the HM to be strat, one of my faves actualy. Love the gold hardware by the way.

Isn't the wiring on the HM meant to coiltap the humbucker in possition 4?

I'm really not certain what it does half the time. The coil tap is a separate little toggle switch located just below and between the two tone knobs, and it does something in all 5 positions, but in most cases, I don't use it.

Thank you for the compliments on the Strats so far. I just did'nt know if a guitar like that belong in this section. The same with my Showmaster guitars.

What kind of Showmasters? I think they do belong in this section.

I have two right now, but I'm planning to get two more...
Currently, I own a QBT and a QMT, both are the HH models.

I guess those aren't the Highway One Showmasters? I don't think I've ever seen any of those outside of the 2003 Frontline (or whatever year it was).

No, these are not the Highway One strats, These are the Korean made, set neck guitars thaat came with Seymour Duncans in them.

I figure since they were made abroad, and no longer made ( Discontinued this year) no one will blink if I used these guitars to gig out with instead of my older, more collectible Strats.

I have been looking at the Highway One guitars, but I would have to do a lot of work to one of those to get them the way I need them for gigs. Still, they are a great buy for the price.

Ok Gang,
Here are the pics of the other Fender guitars I use more than anything these days. I hope this is the proper place for them.

EMG HZ's on the FMT? You must be a metal player Harley, They must tear ears off through the ADA.

I use em in a Esp Ltd. the guitars garbage clean (and i believe its the guitar not the pickups) The minute the gain goes up on my 800 they RROOOOAAAAR. I actualy prefer em to their active pickups. The output isn't quite as high but they have a better tone.

Yes, those are EMG's in the QMT guitar, but it came that way when I bought it. I still have the Duncans that I took out of the QBT guitar I can put those in, or I might use Dimarzio Air Buckers like I have in the QBT now.

Sorry to hear about your LTD guitar, I have one of those too and it's an awesome sounding little axe even with it's stock pickups. My only beef with mine is the same beef I am having with the Showmaster guitars, it won't stay in tune. I'll be bringing that up in another topic.

I have a question to put out in the Forum. I'm sure this has come up at least a dozen times, but I can't find anything on this subject when I tried to search for it.
I'm thinking about gettin a Custom Shop Robin Trower Signature model, and I wonder if anyone has any feedback or comments (Pros and Cons) about this axe. I'd like to find out all I can about it before I lay out $3500 for it.
Thank you in advance for the help.
