One of my favorite was the 3 tone sunburst but I recently picked up a 79 with a refinished body and I really like the Lake Placid blue thin skin on it.

Just built a vintage style Strat with tinted neck and 57 / 62 loaded pickguard in Candy Orange. I had to use a Dlx body I got off eBay.
But it's beautiful.

Don't you just hate it when you have to clean the drool off your keyboard!

My first Strat was an amazing colour, Midnight Blue/Purple was the official name. I swear it changed shade with my mood  Everyone who saw her, commented on her colour. I'm sorry I let her go :(

Oh, yeah, I guess it could go the other way. UNreliced.
Nice!

Snowy, my first Strat was the boring standard 3-tone sunburst ...

nice strat! are those graptech saddles good ?? I changed the nut on my MIM 60's ... it had a kind of syntetic bone nut before and the strings would get stuck in them whenever I used the tremolo therefore bringing serious tunning problems ... once I installed this graphtech nut three days ago the strings now go back to tune really nice ......:P
